According to HubSpot's The State of Marketing Report, 16% of marketers plan to try experiential marketing, like engaging audiences in real life with pop-ups or events, for the first time this year. If your company is part of that 16% or you're still evaluating whether experiential events are right for you, read on friend! In this issue, we'll dive into some of the trends and considerations when planning your first—or next—experiential event. CES®, the most powerful tech event in the world, annually convenes breakthrough technologies and global innovators in one incredible trade show. Global brands like Amazon, Caterpillar, Google, IBM, Kia, LG, L'Oréal, Mercedes-Benz, NBCUniversal, Samsung, and hundreds more come to network, learn about cutting-edge technologies, and discover the latest product launches.
EPS Events, conceptualized, designed, and produced a pop-up as part of a full exhibit at CES®. The theme was "Turn On the Future of TV and Video Advertising" and the goal was to create a fully immersive experience into their brand and product, while also encouraging networking and social moments.
During the two-day experiential event, we flipped the room twice to create different looks and atmospheres. Clients and audiences entered the space through a social share-worthy neon tunnel. It opened with a Ted Talk-type format featuring executives, and then transitioned to an evening party with everything from musicians to traveling Character Artists. The last day, we turned the room again to feature meeting pod spaces, where clients could meet and greet potential clients. There were custom seating arrangements, and special pods that enabled private meetings with full AV support. Throughout the pop-up, we showcased product information and brand swag.
The client was thrilled with our ability to visualize, design, and manage the various experiential elements of this branded pop-up, creating many different looks and functionality in one space. We can do the same for you.
