
Heather Long-Dills, Co-owner, Creative Director, and Executive Producer, and Mike Dills, Co-owner, Technical Director, and Executive Producer, offer clients more than 50 years’ combined experience conceptualizing, planning, and executing memorable events that clients and audiences love. Their versatility and inventive thinking allow them to successfully plan and manage projects of all sizes—from live events that reach millions to cozy gatherings—in locations across the globe.
Heather spearheads purpl Octopus, EPS Events’ creative agency, where she leads the ideation, design, and visual aspects of each event’s production to cohesively showcase clients’ brands and event themes. Her advanced design skills and art direction experience fuel her imagination to successfully concept, storyboard, and produce inspirational graphics and visuals for a variety of live events. Her work has won several awards, including Addy Awards, Gold Telly, Silver Inkwell, CINE Golden Eagle Award, Aurora Award, and a Stationery Trends Award.
Mike’s skill in envisioning and modeling every technical detail of a project, while also coordinating logistics, managing crews, and interfacing with clients, is remarkable. His superpower is the ability to design custom technical solutions to fit any budget and often suggests ideas that save clients’ money. He is also adept at effectively managing numerous technical and video components at multiple, internationally televised events, evidenced by concurrently supervising the CMA Awards in Nashville and production management of LED operations for the NFL Tailgate Party at the 2010 Super Bowl in Tampa.
